Subject: Ten Mile River Restoration Project

I see there is an article about RISAA sponsoring a bill on Menhaden. There was a bill a few years ago which I thought was passed which didn't allow the seining of menhaden above Prudence Island. I quit RISAA a while ago as I didn't feel they represented shore fishermen as they told me not to push for the removal of the fence across the Quonochontaug Breechway wall. Saying I could really shutdown the access, what access?. RSAAA stand for the large boat owners. I also asked Steve how many docks in the state have dock registration number plates on their docks? I haven't found any. I a couple of weeks ago posted about the Ten Mile River Restoration project which was supose to start in the fall of 2006. The taxpayers aproved the bill for the money back on the ballot in 2004. I posted this on this website, and it was removed, I guess no one cares except one of your posters. I found out more from the Federal Government than I could from State Officials, which none have answered, incuding Mr. Steve Mederios of RISAA. I get even cell phone numbers of Federal Officials, but I can't get any answers from RI officials, not even e-mail from the Governor on down. I guess the money went to the general fund.
