The upper cape creeks are loaded with 1 in. siversides and the other day at sandy neck OSV beach revealed the first peanut bunker of the year, large bait balls of 1 in. pb's, at first I was thinking siversides but the dip net proved other wise. On a side note the sandeels seem to be on a high cycle for numbers, every step in the submerged sand has them leaping out,it's amazing how sensitve they are to any disturbance around them ,even a well placed quite step sends them leaping from several feet around.
