Took the kids to Seapowet this weekend.
The bait trap was set out , off course.
Ethan caught all kinds of bait.
Mummies, killifish, all different types of crabs, silversides, some
other large black backed bait, ( didn't recognize that one,) also several types of shrimp.
my younger son, Evan, he took the shrimp in a bucket and took all my shrimp GP flies and put them in side by side with the shrimp to make the best match possible.
I was proud of him.
He found a green shrimp in my case that matched perfectly.
I had him tie it on my flie line for me.
Evan is a grass roots fly fisherman in the making!
They will both do just fine.
It makes me happy to see it in them.
