I have a question just what is a dink?
I think it is relative somehow.
Like - if you catch a thirty pounder and then catch a fifty is the thirty a dink?
How about the other way around a fifteen and then a thirty?
How about live lining a ten pound bluefish for a giant tuna?
A flat lined 12 pound false albacore for a blue marlin?
How about livelining menhaden on 130 pound gear in a fighting chair for stripers in the Providence river? Does that make them dinks?
What the heck is a dink.
Sometimes I think I am a dink.
I do not know for sure what one is though but I suspect that it is personal opinion relative to ones expectations of success and not connected to the present situation.
Dinks are not dinks in and of themselves. I have never caught a dink in my life. When I do I will stop fishing for them.
I am not a dink fisherman.
