To Gary Stienmiller and Steve Culton for showing me around the Farmington and bringing me to wonderful places that I would never have found by myself. I would also like to thank them for sharing their nymphing expertise with me and Denise and for providing an old fashioned wading staff for Denise on site when she wouldn't take mine for fear I would break my neck. Where the river is rugged you really need that extra assist and real studs are as important as they are in the rocky surf. I found that the felt studded soles were useless. The rocks were greasy with slime and growth and the tiny studs did not penetrate and grip at all.
Can't wait to get back there and do some exploring on my own now that I have been introduced to just how amazing the whole river actually is.
Thanks again for all your help Gary and Steve.
It is much appreciated.
