tiny almost translucent crabs we say? the ocean seems to teeming with surprises. while i do not have a fine mesh net, it appears that such a thing may turn out to be an invaluable tool.

i have tried some 2" eelies, as well as some 2" rays flies, in various colors, and a 3" GP. among other things. no worm patterns yet.

i did manage to take two shad, one on a small rays fly and one on a little olive over white bucktail streamer thing. perhaps there is some significance in the presence of the shad, perhaps not. biosterous little buggers.

these crabs intrigue me. thanks on the net info. not sure i will be able to get out there for a couple of days, but i will report on my findings.
