Subject: What were these things on the beach on Block Island?


Every time I walked up on the beach to take a bio break, I'd
see the wet sand/tidal region of the beach swarming with
these 1/4-1/2 inch transluscent shrimpy/sand flea things.
Hundreds and hundreds of them. Almost beetle-like. I'll bet
someone knows. :-)
