Today, I came home from the office at lunchtime to take care of our two black labs, Chipper and Coco. I let them out in to the yard for a bit of a run before making them their lunch of kibbles and water. And as I watched them prance about the yard (there is a certain pogo-stick gait (I'm referring to where they bounce up and down from front to back as they run...), full of the joy of being alive; their noses in the air sniffing and tussling with each other, I found myself hoping that I when I was 12-1/2 dog years old that I would have the same unbridled joy for life. It's worth shooting for....
