I went to school in White Plains and had a revival of my passion for fly fishing on the river that runs through the Sleepy Hollow Cemetary. I love that area.
I had been away from fishing for many years prior to that because of teen and early 20's life pursuits (sports, girls, some booze). I got started again with my grandfather's fishing pole, a pair of sandals (in April) and some oddly tied flies (mostly bead head nymphs). I get nostalgic just looking at the satellite photos. It's a great place to connect with for all of the reasons you gave, Merch. Let's make a trip down there...I know you need to work on your trout skills:)
