They are 4,000 miles to my left,
In a box the postman left some weeks ago.
And we will meet
5,500 miles to my right
To drive for days and days
To visit big rivers deep deep in
For fish I have only seen darkly from above long ago
It is as good a way as any other to come together,
As any other.

Writing poems to a rod is fun!
This is my blind date poem to a rod...
