I have wanted to fish Aklins for some time now. Doubt I can make it the end of May as I think I will be in Mexico around then with a guy from Kayak Fishing stuff. I will be on Exhuma late April for a week or so. That's where I have been bonefishing the last couple of years. Family has some real estate interests there, but the place is very expensive these days and I will be fishing elsewhere in the future. There is a guy who rents out a two bedroom place on Delectable bay for 1000/week and it sleeps four with kitchen facilities. He will rent a skiff for 500 a week. I tried to get a few friends together for a trip there but could not connect. This board may be a good place. I haven't been posting on any of these boards for a while, but I feel like doing so. E-mail back if you want more info or if you might be interested in a do-it yourselfer at a later time. By the way, I've heard from some Bahamian friends that the mosquitos on Aklins are downright scary.
