Ken, i am a long time (25 yrs) saltwater spinfisherman but a 1 season fly fisherman. I am using an Orvis Trident TLS mid flex6.5, 9 ft, 8 wt rod. My line is either Cortland wf8(change a tip) or airflo striper intermediate wf8fl??? I would love to cast further. I barely cast across narrow river at the rt. 1 bridge. Any suggestions?
