Corr.
Stiff graphite does load. The window of flex recovery is so small - to me - that it is functionally non-existent for my and for most peoples sensitivities and that is why so few people can feel the rod load. There is not enough time for the load to be felt and register in ones consciousness.
The other problem I have with it is that the recovery flex within the rod itself is short and so everything is in fast forward mode which translates into excessive speed. It is - at least to me - like watching a movie that lasts for two hours at normal speed condensed into one minute.
I prefer to have a rod load through out the backcast and then gently push the rod forward and let it unload and see the line unfurl gracefully rather than have it move so fast that I can not tweak it in flight.

I do not believe in fast line speed to cut through the wind either (it never does) as I know that mass (grain weight at normal velocity) does it much better and more gracefully.

Again this in only my own personal opinion.
