The water was not to big tonight. There were a lot of bass and silversides and small menhaden. Very fishable and not dirty after all the heavy water we have had. Sinking lines and weighted flies were very ineffective. I watched a couple of fellows using this approach cast and cast and strip and strip while the fish were breaking and taking bait on the surface all around them. Selective fish that were feeding in the currents from the waves that wouldn't eat near the bottom even though the water was not deep and they wouldn't chase flies or bait either. Lots of nice presentation fishing with floating lines and droppers to be had there.
