My first guess would be less mass on a smaller lever arm from the centerline of the plug. Less damping in the roll (a belly weight below the centerline would help to reduce this roll). Kind of like all that rod balance stuff ken talks about. Equal and smaller forces to either side of the fulcrum point.

I can't wait to experiment!
