Subject: Needlefish development plugs


I've tried to set these guys up with the same slow sink rate and the same neutral attitude in the water. When they settle on the bottom, the belly hook supports the entire plug assembly with the plug body parallel to the bottom, tail hook not touching, and they sort of bob up and down when I added current to the test tank. Pretty cool!

I hope I've set them up so that they're like a slow sink suspending jerk bait that I can actively manipulate during the retrieve. I'm sure I'll have to do a bit more fiddling after the final assembly, but that's part of the fun....

Three of them are six inches long and the bigger one is 8" long.
