Epoxied wood is a great color. Some of my most productive plugs in the past have looked like a piece of natural wood before they finally get donated to gods of the sea.

Maybe instead of epoxy we should start "greased plug fishing". Keeps the water out and if you dink the finish you just put more gew on.

Most natural wood is close to yellow anyway. :)
