Here's a close up of two of the plastic lipped swimmers, about 7 inches long. I was trying out the scale effect on thee two plugs as well. They're done in the fashion of a musky plug called a Jake. I had no idea that a slab sided plug could look so pretty in the water. You can see on the green/silver/orange one that there was ongoing balancing work going on by the small pieces of lead siliconed to the plug's belly. It will get drilled, the lead put in and the belly repainted and sealed. These guys run about 6 to 8 feet deep. Cast like **** and swim like Wow. So I'm now introducing myself to trolling.... Or they may be well suited to rips where you can back reel to feed them out 100 yards or so before beginning a long slow retrieve. Time will tell.
