My outbound is no more. It succumb to an unfortunate combination of wind, rocks and poor line management.

I decided not replace, a confluence of factors, the high price of gas, the arrival of my second child and the fact that i recently stumbled on to an absurd number of 'discontinued' lines at rock bottom prices at a nearby shop. The line in question was 9 wt. so i replaced with a 12 wt 'saltwater' taper.(both 380 grains).

What I've found in combination of backyard casting and limited fishing. The thicker running line has probably reduced the length I can cast the line on a 'normal' cast by about 5 feet. Predictably it mends better.
