Subject: Next sunday morning is the Fly Rod tune up.

IT will be at Quanny in Charlestown R.I.
We will have some other things going on too.

We can work on mending and spey casting.
Mending is easy once you see how it is done.
Sean Ransom from the West coast of Speypages.com will be there showing folks how to wield the two hander.
He has become quite the striper fisherman.
John Kelsey will be there showing his hand made plugs and a few of the fellows are going to tie flies.

Lyle is again going to be the grill master.

Bring your "difficult," fly rods to get tuned up and if you have any friends who have given up on the salt because of the casting problem - talk them into coming.
I believe their casting problems can be solved in a minute and a half.

It is not their/your casting that is the problem it is the totally bogus light line labels on the rods.

We will have lines and reels and the time to find the one that casts your rod - best, best-er, best-est - for you.
No classes; casting distance is easy with just a traditionally balanced rod and line.

We will show you how to tie droppers and knots and there will be lots of stories and tips about tackle and how to make it user friendly.
Lots of old fashioned natural materials flies that are beautiful to look at that are proven fish catchers.
There is no charge for this.
It is free.

There will also be fish to be caught.

Mark may be there with his nets and aquariums to show us the bait that we tie flies to imitate in all its glory.

There may be a raffle or two.
