Just found this web site and find it very interesting. From what I have
read here, seems there is strong preference for using a heavier line.
Makes sense to me, reduce false casting when needing to make a quick
cast. Also there seems to be a preference for floating lines as being the
best for detecting light strikes, less slack. Is this observation true? if so
what do you recommend for my St. Croix 9 weight?
