I like them cause they are a little longer head than most new lines. This gives you more to work with for executing spey casts and I also just like a little longer head in general.
They are also gentle casting lines with a surprising amount of power. They lay down nicely which is something the outbounds do not excel at.
It is kinda hard to pin point but the line just feels right, not too heavy, not too stiff, and casts like a dream. I bet the 9wt ken is borrowing work work well on your rod. If you get a chance to come out for a tying or fishing trip you should try and find ken to test it out.
