Aha..For plugs it is best kept simple...no braid on conventionals on a regular basis to many expensive plugs being retrieved by others on the farside due to break offs..little bit of a professional overrun no stretch....Whammo! :-) Gone. Sometimes I will use braid and 50# mono shocker on jigs...but 30# Big Game holds up really well when bouncing jigs..On the other hand 25# does not. Abrasion after 5 or 6 casts...like night and day the 25 and 30...Always puzzled me..seems like two diferent companies are making it?
