As I understand it, dropper lenghts shouldbe 2-2 1/2" +/-?
What do you recommend for a knot? Seems with the short length I'd run out of tying material pretty quick changing flies.
I've no problem changing the whole leader,,, just time consuming when the heat is on.
Then again, with the 2" loop, I'm wondering if you have leader/fly rigs all set up prior for changes that you somehow carry as standard equipment?
I've thought of doing that but can't seem to think of a good way to carry them afield (without crushing the flies).
