I happen to have two spools for my Daiwa Emblem Pro Spinning reel for the 11' Lami. On one I was rigged with 30# Braid and 30# mono connected with a slim beauty (about a 15 foot shocker) the other was rigged with 40# Braid and a 40# mono shocker...The heavier lined rig has been much more manageable in terms of line handling and wind knots and the like...Have not lost any noticeable casting distance with the heavier rig so I will be using the heavier rig for both plugging and jigging the canal.
