I think I have rigging the terminal end down for heavier gear using snaps ans swivels with a single and a twisted double section of 30 lb hard mono leader.
My question is how do you rig the terminal end for fishing light jigs? Snaps and swivels I think would kill the feel and action of the jig. I am not sure about leader type and thickness that would be good for abrasion resistance while still keeping the feel of 6lb test fireline main line.
I have been attaching the main line to my jig for now and cringe when I feel it scraping across the hard sand paper mouth while fighting a fish.
