When stuck on a snag using a heavy leader the line breakes where it
meets the leader. Is this the correct spot for the setup to give out or is
there is problem? Ideally I want my leader to part at the knot to my
bait but because I am using a heavier leader than my main-line I guess
it changes where it should break. Plus it is a pain to keep retying on
leaders and a new bait.
Just curious if my setup is good or needs improvement?
