Check out the article on flyfishohio.com for a good read on carp fishing. I remember fishing with worms for sunfish many years ago on some Alabama lakes (ponds up here) and tied into a carp - loads of fun.

As a newbie flyfisherman, I am still trying to get a consistent cast that does not end up in a heap at 20', but have fun catching sunfish to try to 'learn' how to fish.
