You've managed to whet my appetite and anticipation for my annual trip to the Adirondacks, although most of my time will be spent on a small lake. Along with the smallies and large mouths, after doing some serious lurking on some pike and musky boards, I'm going to see if I can do any better with the Northerns that are in the lake. I've always gotten the 20 to 27 inch fish (sorry Merch...)and a few 30's. But I know that there are few 40"+ fish there, too. I always see a few jump each year and I've never been able to raise one.
