I even found another use for my grain scale that I use for weighing shooting heads. Its great for comparing the weights of trebles in different combinations and checking the overall weight of plugs. Most don't weigh what it says on the label!

I also decided to remove the middle trebles from the super spook plugs after excessive injury to fish during unhooking last week-end. All were hooked on the head treble but got themselves snagged on the middle when thrashing around. If it costs a couple of hook-ups I can live with it.

The spare spook trebles go nicely on one of my jointed Cordell plugs and actually weigh a little less than the VMCs.

I spent an hour on a conference call this morning during which time I re-rigged a couple of plugs and hand colored another with a pantone pen :)
