Returned to the Cape on 10/19 and found the fish right where we left them. we had three fantastic nights with the same class of fish (mostly 10 -20lbs.) All very fat and the foamy conditions had them in a feisty mood. A number of larger ones were lost as they would tear free. Too very large fish actually managed to break 3/0 3x hooks at the eye, hard to do with only one hook on lure as that is the way that we rig them so that larger fish can't rip them off. The conditions were picture perfect on these nights and they will be remembered for a long time. On the way back, we stopped at the canal and found things very quiet. It was clear to us that our fish weren't ready to head south yet.
