Fishing in the upper Thames has been red hot if you can stand the cold. Some nights have yielded 50 fish or better on soft baits with correct retrieve. Get there at dark and fish till 2:00 a.m. seems to slow down around then. Every night we fished we caught keeper bass the biggest being 37". Heard of bigger fish than that being caught further south by the Mohegan but can't confirm.
