Subject: Piled higher and deeper

I recently ran into a fellow who I hadnt seen in awhile and he asked me how my golf was.. Not great I told him my drives are getting shorter by the year and seemingly more crooked..Not to be shutup by this piece of honesty he proceeded to tell me one long drive story after another including one about an 80 year old fellow who I played golf with 40 years ago..Sh-t he said Charlie was knocking one drive after another 260 to 270 yards..Damn I said, whats hes on, he couldnt hit the ball that far when he was forty?? Moving to another subject he asked hows the fishing been..

Good I told him.. Had a nice one on the other day, took me into my backing but I dropped it.. Caught two yesterday but was skunked this morning..Well, he said I lucked into 12 yesterday, couple keepers too.He wanted to know how I missed the blitz..

Gee wiz I said, blitzs are for amateurs,ride around all day, following birds trucks and who knows what else..You find a fish and first thing you know there are 30 guys around you..I rather fish in private, this way none know what youre doing.

Now my friend who has abit of the mularky in him didnt know what to make of this.. Was I lying about the fish I caught?? Did I really catch alot more than I was letting on??And to add to the fun, I wouldnt tell him exactly where I was fishing, only that it was up north in the park..He looked abit bemused by my apparent honesty.. Was I on to something that I wasnt letting out or was that all the fish I caught??

Hell never know!
