IT is O.K. to brag.
That is what this board is for.
It is O.K. to B.S. that is also what this board is for.
It is also O.K. to take personal offence at what people may say about people who count fish as a way of describing their fishing experiences but it is kind of silly to do it.
I think you may just be trying to get some energy and attention from people by being (mock, make believe, play acting) offended.

NOthing wrong with paying attention to how many fish you catch and there is nothing wrong with people having some fun with it when they are forced to listen to the litany of, I caught 44 fish in 10 minutes on a blue and green whatsis.
Nobody actually cares except when they ask directly.
If someone does it all the time then they become a joke to others.
Counting fish is personal.
Mature fishermen seldom lead off with a litany of their score-keeping ability.
It impresses but in a negative way.
A word to the wise is sufficient.
Nothing wrong with counting and nothing wrong with boring people with your counting.
They will make fun of you for doing it.
Nothing wrong with that either.
It is called growing up.
You learn it in the school yard.

This whole thing is silly indeed.
I would like it to end and not be on this board or any other board on this site.

It is childish and does not even deserve the word asinine.
