Ill give you some second hand info Ive learned..I fished 10000 island area for 2 days on a boat. I believe theres plenty of dyo fishing in Marco and Naples from people Ive spoken to who have relatives there and from what Ive observed while there. If you want to fish at night snook hang like stripers off the bridges in the dark, find a bridge some moving wtaer some lights and you should be in business. Ive heard snook go up the beaches within a cast but I think that might be a little later in the year but Id give it a try.
There are some snook/redfish specific flies but I bet most flies used for stripers would work.
A final bit of advice if you catch a snook watch for its gill plate its sharp as hell.
Fishing Fla even in April is weather driven and a cold front puts redfish and snook off their feed. Hot s-se winds cures those ills.
Id google dyo the area and bet you find soem answers. I know theres a couple of good parks north of Naples for wading that Ive researched and forgot about, Im sure you an find them.
