yes , a little time specific. THe snook start hanging on the beaches in April and the best months are supposed to be May, June, July. I happened to have my best beach snook days last year in April but I also didnt fish the beaches as much in May, June and July. I am refering to the gulf coast within Everglades Natl park. I have had similar results on Sarasota beaches in the middle of summer.
Bonefishing has been so/so. We have had some unstable and ever changing weather with lots of wind. I have also been very busy and not fishing as much. I did have a magical afternoon a couple weeks ago when I got a very big Bone on fly, may never catch one like that again. I took a friend out a few days later and he got 3 fish on bait. I have started to see more Permit around and will be trying to target them but so far my experience with them is that they are not very predictable.
