got out at 6:30pm tonight for 1 hour. 2 shots at bones on warm night
and rising tide. I blew shot number 1. shot number 2 the toad fly
lands smack dab in front of 2nd small aggressively tailing group. 2
tails fly into the air... I like to think they were fighting for the fly. One
gets it......off to the races. backing through the tip top and
then................slack line. I was content with a solid hook up and initial
run but then I looked at the leader. curly cue end! D'OH, my bad.
havnt lost a fish from a bad knot in a long time. always check knots,
always. lesson relearned.
