Multipy all the clerks in all the shops and all the writers and all the books and add them up and is that
one voice saying the same exact thing a rant?
Is that one view of fly fising fleshed out - true - or is it hearsay and/or sales policy.
Thatsingle positin is a very large and loud P.C. noise.

I have one voice and I am saying what I know and have learned myself. It is a different voice but it needs to be heard and said.

I do take fishing very seriously.
It is not a hobby or a means to an end for me.
Do you take your job seriously?
Fishing is more to me than a job.
It is a vocation.
Some how it is Holy to me.
Fishermen themselves are Holy to me.
I think they deserve the best.

Why is that so irritating.
If I was not willing to be true to my view of what fishing is then: Who would do it for me?

There is always the choice to keep your mouth shut and go along with what everyone wants you to accept and benefit from that silence don't rock the boat attitude or say no and stand up for what you believe in.

I am doing the latter.
I think history will prove me correct.
I may not see it but it is worth it none-the-less.
I have grandchildren.
Maybe it will mean something to them when they come up against P.C. difficulty in their lives.

A wise woman once told me that once, when she was young adn trying to make a decision about a man her mother told her;

"A mouse never grows up to be a rat."

You can not be what you are not;
even if the whole world says you should be.
It can never work.
Be yourself even if means that you are alone.
At least you have you and that is no small accomplishment in this age.
