Industry; humanity one is the same as the other. Actually the above describes a lot of people I know, and also applies to many other industries if not all - junk food comes to mind.

No argument here.

Actually what I meant to say was "it’s just a windmill not a giant monster"; don’t waste your time with it; it’s not going to harm you.

>I am not picking on people. When you separate the industry people from the industry itself,
>guess what? They know that there is a separation. It is just business they say.

I’m not sure I follow you. The people in the industry are the industry.

Good advice, but other than Tuesday Fishing a newcomer doesn’t have many alternatives.

To paraphrase George Carlin - @#$% the industry.

>There is no long term vision within the industry however and never will be.
>The lion does not feed an care for what she preys upon.

I agree. We should for the most part avoid lions.

>A shephard does that .

Sheepherders don’t impress me. They slaughter the sheep. I like to avoid them too.
Leaders are more tolerable. But sometimes they can lead you over a cliff.

Now I’m starting to sound like you –"yes but sometimes no and sometimes both." :)

>Perhaps the industry could borrow some of that long term vision adn open up to its customer
>base as valuable for long term survival.

>Wishful thinking and actually quite - delusional.

Strange things happen sometimes. If you feel so strongly about this issue, don’t let what say discourage you.
