I'll give it a try in the next few days and see how it goes. I fished yesterday evening, with 1 oz bucktails tipped with a Uncle Josh "Porker". Marked the fish deep, and whacked them silly only when I cast parellel to the rip, let it sink, and engaged the bail, to let it swing. If I tried reeling and jigging it aggresivly, it did not work as well. I plan on useing a 7 ft St. Croix, with 10 lb Stren braid. What do you use for leader material? How long? Have fun fishing.
