You're right on about little changes producing after they've seen something a few times and either hit it or looked at it and turned. I dealt with a lot of this last night. At first they were all over my bluegill pattern grub but after several repeated attempts they wanted nothing to do with it. But, every time I changed something I either got a hit as a response or at least a closer inspection of my new offeing. After a while though they got sick of anything I threw at them no matter how huch I changed the pattern or the presentation. This method is very fun and I've learned more about these fish in the past week than i think I have in several seasons.
