They're 2/0's. Then you can tune by changing hook sizes.
To be honest, I can't remember exactly how I numbered each plug, although I think you were using the top one (#1). (You might try removing the rear belly hook on it and see what happens...) Either the second or third one in the picture is #3. I think it's the shorter one.... Merch, you'll have to help me remember the order.
What I was trying to do was give Merch a few different profiles to play with in heavier current. His experience has been that a Danny plug won't dig and continue to work in these situations. Rather, it would roll over. I know the short fat body profile works great in light water and current from last years experience up here, even in white water around rocks.
The two skinnier plugs are as exact a copy as I can make of two very different Donny Pinchney Danny plugs I have. The "cut down" lip is actually an exact copy of the original lip using a lip I had that I cut down and modified. Maybe he was fishing in stronger current and needed a smaller lip to counter the rolling out? We'll see.
I will be interested to hear how it all turns out. And I'm glad to know that the bass are doing their part in the research....
