Last week while fishing the out going tide of the casle neck river I notice a pattern. I began fishing about fifty yards or so from my endpoint along the banks. I started fishing from a dock by casting and letting my line drift. After about ten cast I decided to move down river a little this time I was walking along the bank casting across and drifting my line but also walking very slowly to continue the drift. I hooked a fished and quickly landed it I took another cast and came tight to another fish. After that I had to move about a hundred feet down river before hooking up again this process repeated and the fish seem like they were moving from certain stations in the current to the other. I like using a gait style of casting becase it is like trolling without a boat.
