It would be wonderful to put that to the test. I do know for sure that I
over the course of the year I was able to watch one or two of those old
fashioned skippers in action in that stretch of water. They were
systematic. They weren't playing around. They used jigs and hit the
spots. It was an education. My field of view didn't stretch down the
whole strait, but I have a hunch that if it did I would have been able to
watch them fish that strait up and down, following the fish on their
milkrun from peak flow to peak flow.

Some say that the water flows to fast in some of those feeding lanes. I
wonder what if.
