Subject: Fixed Lights and surf fishing

If you know where there is a light on a beach or anyplace near a beach any where on the coast you may have a great place to fish at night no matter what the wind sea or tide.

Lights on beaches attract bait and bait attracts bass.

There are lots of Oceanside restaurants and light poles on streets and houses with halogen lights.

I know of one spot where there is a crime light at the end of a dead end that is so far away from the water that you hardly notice it but if you look hard you can see a faint shadow from the rocky shoreline being cast out on the open ocean. Yup that spot holds fish consistently all tides and winds and tides.

The bait is drawn to the light.

Pay attention to lights as they do concentrate fish. Make it a part of your routine to check these places out as they will pay of for you big time over the course of a season.
