Subject: Fishing under lights and fly color |

I've fished at night under lights out here on the West Coast and found that while the stripers will strike at a white or colored fly they won't even look at a fly that is tied with black materals. Any one elese experanced this? I haven't tried the black flys where there isn't any light the stripers are few out here and I just haven't had the time to try blind fishing. One of ouer big problems is finding the fish. Now that I'm retired I hope to spend more time fishing for the stripers and trying to put into action what I've learned from this board and from Ken.
