Move and explore and fish the changes. Remember what Al taught you at Black point. Don't be concerned about weight in the surf. It is a minor tactic except - sometimes. Split shot or pegged worm weight above the fly is enough. (toothpick jambed in the hole to fix it in place)
That litle trick can make any fly into a jig fly and that means all your flies can be used either way at will.
There is no real reason to carry fixed weighted flies you willhave more options with only a few worm weights and a couple of toothpicks or some split shot.
