I will take your suggestion and snorkle those places to
get the sense of the true size of the rocks and what is down there.

When I look at the photos from above, there are lots
of interesting formations and mini-harbors and points
and funnels and I should look at those underwater to
see if there is something doing.

And as you say it is very exciting when you get the timing right
swimming your plug through the outwash and it gets slammed.
Satisfying. Like slotting in a piece.
