Are hot right now at least they are down here in R.I. but I would think that they may be in other places that the summer time bait has invaded.
Fish can be very picky as they are full and not hungry but well fed.
"Summer time and the livin' is easy. Fish are jumping and the cotton is high," and all that. Stripers are not actually thugs once you get to know a little something about them. They are an extremely adaptable fish. They are content everywhere and seem to be happy being everywhere. I get a lot of enjoyment out of the silly short sighted terms some people project onto fish.
