Great post. Could you tell others why you are not using sinking lines and intermediate lines and long leaders of 6 pound test flourocarbon and lead headed flies.

That is all that most people have been told to use and do use and perhaps you can give them a window on some other traditional strategies that actually do work.
The Namby Pamby elite writers and, "flats home boys," have done a great job of disseminating disinformation about flats fishing. And a few book authors too.

I know that you have real experience.
